Now I only knew Zotiyac from a feature he did on a Yung Bambi song, but because I liked the feature so much, I decided to check him out. Though I did not know a single song that he had written.
I just put his music on shuffle, and the first song that came up was “Born Killer Freestyle”, and I love freestyles so I was excited about it, and he delivered. I gave this track a 10 with no doubt.
“Better Off Kys” was the second song that came on, and I got excited because the beginning had kind of an eerie intro, and then when he started rapping, it was just that good. I give this song a 10 too.
The third song that played was “Bottled In” and I did like this song, but I do not think it was my favorite, but the first two tracks were so good in my opinion that the bar for Zotiyac is high right now. I gave this song an 8.
When I heard the fourth song though, I remembered why the bar was so high though. “Bleed Out” is such a good track and I added it to my playlist immediately. I have to rate this song a 10 with no doubt.
“HIT THAT GROUND” was the next track to play, and I decided that I need to know what beat this track was sampled from because it is fire. So is Zotiyac’s rapping over the tack. Another 10 from me.
The sixth song that played was “VERN (RIP) FREESTYLE”. I was excited to have another freestyle on this deep dive, because, so far, freestyles from Zotiyac are good, and this song confirmed that. I gave it a 9.
One thing I have appreciated about this deep dive is that no track I have listened to has had a feature so I feel like I am getting to know him as an artist. “Siccmade” was the next track that played and I liked it, so I gave it an 8.
“Amen” gave the same energy as a lot of old Soundcloud songs, so I liked it a lot. But, I do not think that it was one of my favorite Zotiyac songs, though it was good, I ended up giving it an 8.
The ninth song that played was “Ain’t Hard To Find Me”. Just by hearing this intro, I knew the song was going to be good, and I was not wrong. Zotiyac truly is incredibly talented. I gave this song a 10.
I ended this deep dive with “Expensive Habits” which ended up being a good track to end on. This song channeled about everything I liked from Zotiyac summed up into one song so I ended up rating it a 9.
