Stp. Freddo is another artist that I discovered through a feature. These have been interesting for me because I am going into these deep dives with no bias. So I was excited to do Stp.Freddo today.
The first song that I listened to was “Finish Move”, which was a good song, but something about it reminded me of getting into a boy’s car and he plays a rapper he knows you do not know and it is kind of mid. I gave it a 5.
“Show Me Who You Are” was next on my shuffle. I really enjoyed the intro to this song because it is very different from “Finish Move”, and I really enjoyed it, so for my rating of this song, I gave it a 10.
After having such a positive experience with the previous song, “Cold Turkey” was pretty good, but something about it missed the mark, therefore I ended up rating it a 7 because it was good but there was no wow attached to it.
The fourth song that I listened to was “The Good Die Young”. After just hearing the intro, I knew this was gonna be a good song, and I was correct, but I do not think anything will beat “Show Me Who You Are”. I gave it an 8.
“Bumble Bee” is Stp. Freddo’s most popular song which I understand, the song is great. Though, I have decided that nothing will beat “Show Me Who You Are”, this song is great so I am still going to rate it a 9.
Another favorite from Stp. Freddo has been established. The minute I heard “No Gimmicks”, I was obsessed with it. This song was just that good. I decided I would rate it a 10 with no doubt whatsoever.
The seventh song that I listened to was “Pressure On Me” which also featured Stp.Clutch. This song I enjoyed but it was not one of my favorites that I have heard from Stp. Freddo, so I gave it a rating of 7.
“Lil Nacho” was the next song that played, and just from the intro I was immediately attached to this song, and as we moved into the actual song, it just got better. So this song is another easy 10 from me.
A single from Stp. Freddo came up next, I was excited because this was one of his newer songs so I was interested to see how his music had evolved, and I think that he has discovered his craft better. I gave this song a 9.
The last song I listened to, ironically, was the intro to his album, which featured Laz. Intros are important because they set the tone for the album, and this intro sets a great tone as the intro of his album. I give it a 10.
