Songs That We Are Taking Into February With Us (Part Two)

This is the second part where I talk about some of the music I listened to in January that I will be listening to more into February. My previous article is the first part if you have not checked it out yet.

Come On Get Higher - Matt Nathanson: This song was very much a big part of my life when I was younger, and it came up on my shuffle the other week, and I have incorporated it into my regular life now.

Cullinan - Caskey, Clicklack: This song popped up on one of my friend’s playlists, and I have no shame in this world, so I used Shazam to figure out what it was, and ever since I listen to it consistently.

Cut Me Up - Wacotron: I discovered this song when I was doing a deep dive on Wacotron in January, this was one of my favorite songs from that deep dive, so I will be taking it into February with me.

Drank In My Cup - Kirko Bangz: This song, we all know, is one of my personal favorites. I will never miss me. I know that it will be on my Spotify Wrapped and it has only been one month.

Drift Away - Uncle Kracker: This, similarly to Come On Get Higher, is a classic for me, so it has entered my rotation, and I can not see a time when it will be leaving the rotation at any point soon.

Dum Dee Dum - Keys N Krates: This song has always been a classic for me, it was one of the songs that introduced me to the world of EDM, which is one of my favorite genres of music, so I still listen to it a lot.

Flowers - Miley Cyrus: I know that I was not the only one that was excited by the idea of new music from Miley Cyrus, and with this song, she delivered everything that I expected out of her, if not more.

Free Bird - Lynyrd Skynrd: This song reminds me of being at school, and since I currently am not and am going through withdrawal from it, I decided to add it back into my rotation.

Give It To Me - Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado: If the song has Nelly Furtado on it, it is going to be good. And, if you also put Timbaland and Justin Timberlake on the track, it will surely not miss.

Gram And A Hoodie - Wacotron: This was another song that I found out about when I did my deep dive into Wacotron, and I became obsessed with it immediately. Also, after this deep dive, I find Wacotron incredibly underrated.

He Gon Drown - Robbie Coupe III, Don Q, Chris Travis, Eddy Baker: I have always been obsessed with Chris Travis and Eddy Baker, so this song will be carried into the next month.

He Loves You Not - Dream: As we enter the new year, apparently I am still in my Y2K era, this song though will not be flames, I had to add it into the rotation in January and I will continue to listen to it in February.
