Idaho Murders Timeline

So, we all know that this is one of my most written-about subjects. If you even look at what my top articles are on this blog, it is all Idaho Murders related. But, I never have done a timeline of the events, so that is what I am writing today.

Late October 2022: Bryan Kohberger sent several unanswered messages to one of the victims via Instagram. For me, this gives a lot. I think that Bryan wanted to see if what he had studied could lead him to create the perfect crime, and I also believe that this victim became an obsession for him, a random girl that just then became a target. Although it is not revealed which girl it is, my guess is Kaylee. I also think he only intended on killing one person, but messed up where exactly they were in the house.

November 12, 2022: The victims went out to a bar and party that Saturday night. We know this because there is video evidence of Kaylee and Madison out and about that night. Bryan is not seen in any of these videos.

November 13, 2022: In the early morning hours of this day, the four victims were stabbed. Madison and Xana were residents of the home, Kaylee had recently moved out, but was in town for the weekend, and Ethan was staying the night at his girlfriend’s house. At around noon, a roommate called 911, although it is presumed that the murders happened between 3 and 4 in the morning.

November 17, 2022: The Latah County Police Department ruled these four deaths as a homicide.

December 7, 2022: Police turn to the media to ask for help finding a white Hyundai Elantra. It had been seen on cameras near the crime scene. This was one of the only pieces of evidence that had been revealed

December 15, 2022: Bryan Kohberger, who was the suspected killer, a piece of information that had not been revealed to the public yet, was stopped twice in Indiana on traffic violations.

December 30, 2022: Bryan Kohberger is arrested for the quadruple stabbing. This came as a shock to everyone, but having a suspected killer was the best late Christmas gift that murder TikTok could ever receive.

January 3, 2023: Bryan Kohberger is extradited to Idaho after having an extradition hearing in Pennsylvania. The media ate this up, and we have remained to receive little information on this case due to a gag order that has been put in place

January 4, 2023: Bryan makes it to Idaho, he is held in Latah County jail without bond on 4 counts of murder and one count of burglary. This was another exciting day for the media because it was his first real appearance in Idaho.

January 12, 2023: A probable cause hearing is held, this is when he gives up his right to a speedy trial and the preliminary hearing is pushed off for months. This was a very smart move for the lawyer

June 26, 2023: Kohberger will appear in court in Latah county for his preliminary hearing, this hearing is expected to last 5 days. I am living for this hearing.
