There have been a lot of things that have come out since I last covered this case, so I am doing my best to catch up as more and more information is released, please let me know if I miss anything or if anything, in general, you want me to address. In this article, I have covered Anne Taylor and her relationships with the victim’s families, the restaurant where Madison and Xana worked, Bryan Kohberger’s potential to have done an ancestry test and what they may lead to, as well as some of the things found in Bryan’s home and what it may lead to.
Anne Taylor also represented Madison’s family on a previous and unrelated case. This being released makes me feel the same way that I do after it has been released that Xana’s mother has also used Anne Taylor as a defense attorney. I do not understand how she will be able to look either family in the eyes knowing she previously represented them and is now defending someone who killed their daughters. Maybe she just has a lack of morals, that is the only excuse I can come up with for this.
The restaurant where Madison and Xana worked denies rumors that he stalked them through the restaurant. I do not think that he did, yes he was creepy, but I think he was smart enough to not make any remarks to them, therefore that makes this statement untrue. Because he had passed the house at least 12 times, it is obvious he was looking to kill them or do something to them, so I think that he would be careful with how he acted towards them to prevent any type of suspicion about him on their behalf.
Bryan previously submitted DNA to an ancestry website, according to his neighbor. This information would be beneficial if they were still looking to tie the evidence to him, but they may be able to check it to promote the evidence they already have to be true, but I do not know if that is necessary, but it will probably be done anyways, it is interesting he did this even though he knew he was going to kill someone soon enough and this is a known way that is used to track DNA.
One of the biggest questions that have come about ever since it has been released what exactly the police took when they went through Bryan’s Kohberger home is, are the stained items from the crime scene? Professionals have said that it depends on how well they cleaned up. Theoretically though, if he did take these from the crime scene, there would have also been blood from the car, and the DNA would have matched the DNA of whichever victim it was from, of course, we know that we do not know everything that is going on with the investigation, but I do not think it is their blood, I think, because the knife that he used was so bad, it could have been from him. Bloodstains are also hard to remove, but they could see if it had been washed yet, of course, we do not know everything, and I appreciate that the police are keeping some things private since this case is so weird, but I am interested to see what they end up saying these stains were.
The second question that has come about ever since the release of what the police took after the search of Kohberger’s Washington home is why did the police take the receipts? I think this one has an easy answer there is some form of evidence from the crime scene that was purchased on the receipts, or even they found something suspicious at the crime scene.
