Cold Hart

I learned about Cold Hart from Mackned’s song “Black Jeep” and have listened to a few tracks from Lil Peep that included him, so I decided to explore him as an artist today, I am excited to learn about his music separately from his features.

“Collar bones” was the first song that I listened to from him, which very much gave Lil Peep energy, so I liked it, but I do not think it was executed in the best way that it could have been so I gave it an 8.

The next track that I listened to from Cold Hart was “Subies”. It carried the same energy as “collar bones” did which I do appreciate since I enjoy uniform work in an artist, but, at the same time, it missed the first time just as it did the second, I rate it an 8 again.

Just by hearing the intro to “Napalm”, I was intrigued. It was different than what I had heard so far from Cold Hart, but the concept behind the rap was still the same. So I gave this song a 10.

“Imagineigrewupwithyouonlongisland” was the next song that played in the shuffle. Just by the title, I was intrigued by this song. And, I ended up enjoying it, at first, I was nervous about this deep dive but I am beginning to enjoy the music. This song is a 10.

The fifth track that I listened to was “Thru The Screen” which featured YAWNS. I did not know YAWNS but I was excited to have an artist with a feature because it makes my music taste broader. I gave this song a 10 too.

Since the track I listened to after also featured YAWNS, I was excited because I enjoyed the first one so much. “Leo Szn” was an absolute banger and I loved it. I had to also rate this song a 10.

“Dying” featured Lil Peep so I was so happy since peep is one of my favorite artists, and because the two have similar energies, I was excited to listen to them collaborate, and it was also his second biggest song. So, I gave it another 10.

The eighth song I listened to was “I don’t wanna die in California”. This song, although it seemed to be more of a sad track, was right up my alley. I would cry to it. So, I gave this song a 10 as well.

I was excited for another track that featured YAWNS because the work that the two have created together that I have listened to so far has been good. I did not like this one as much, but I still gave it a 9.

“Hot Pink Lighter” was the next track that played, and it also featured YAWNS so I was excited, and to end on this track, was just what I needed. It was the perfect track to end on, I gave it a 10 too.
