C Bane

C Bane is another artist I discovered through a feature. I was excited to do a piece on him because I do not know any of his music. So, here is my deep dive where I put his music on shuffle and write about the first 10 songs that come up.

“Count Up” was the first song that played. Starting with a feature can be exciting because you can learn about more artists. This song featured Young Tove. I fell in love with this song the minute I heard it so I gave it a 10.

The second track that played was “4 Me”. I was excited about this song because it was a song that was only him so for discovering an artist, I always find that important to see the work that is just them. I liked this song so I gave it an 8.

Having another feature was exciting to me because I enjoyed the previous feature so much. “All That” featured Dubba-AA who is another artist that I did not know until I did this deep dive. But I gave this song a 10, and want to explore him more as an artist.

“Timing” was another track that was strictly C Bane, and I appreciate this balance between a track that just features the artist and then one with a feature because I feel that I am learning more about the artist. This song was a 9 for me.

The fifth song I became obsessed with just by the intro. “Trash Bag ‘This Drip’” had an intro that reminded me of old West Coast rap, which is one of my favorite genres, so I was attached immediately. This song is another 10.

I was very excited to have my third track in a row that was strictly C Bane. “Choosin’” was the next track that played, and just by the start of it, I was obsessed with it. So this song easily had to be rated a 10.

“Chop Chop - Remix” was the next track that played and it featured Priceless Scott. This song was completely different than everything that I have listened to from C Bane so far, but I loved it, so I gave it a 10.

The eighth song that played was “Lit - Remix”, and after the previous remix, I was excited for this one, and it was good, but not as good as Chop Chop, but I would still get down if I heard this in the club, so I gave it a 9.

Though, I was very excited to return to the tracks that were solely C Bane. “Say Less” reminded me why. I was obsessed with it from the minute I heard it, and I am so glad that it came up on this shuffle. I gave it a 10.

I ended this deep dive with “Blues” which featured Peril Sensai. I did not know anything about Peril Sensai going into this, so I was excited about this song, and I ended up enjoying it a lot. I gave this song an 8.
