I honestly can not remember how I discovered Blank Body but he was on my list of people that I wanted to check out, so that is who my deep dive today is going to be on, I am very excited about this.
The track that I started my deep dive with was L for L. I was a little confused with how I felt about it initially when I put it on, but as I got deeper into the track I began to like it, so I gave this song a 7.
“Trick Fizz” was the next song that played in my deep dive, and I liked this song a lot better, but I am still interested to see more of Blank Body, I am interested but it hasn’t been given yet. So, this is also a 7.
Listening to one of the artist’s most streamed songs, for me is always interesting because this is what would be considered to be their best work, and I do believe that “Afraid Of Everything” is my favorite song from Blank Body so far, I gave it a 9.
The fourth track that I listened to was “Gross Theory”. Although I am enjoying the work that is solely him, I am excited to see a track that he does with someone else. I gave this song a 9 though because it was cool.
“On The Tongue” was the next song that played on the shuffle I had going, and I think it may be my favorite track that I have listened to by Blank Body so far. I gave this song a 9 because I thought it was good but it just wasn’t a perfect score good.
I have begun to enjoy all of the independent work that I am receiving from Blank Body. For example, the next song that I listened to “Lash” was also an independent track. I rated it a 6 because I did not like it compared to some of his work.
The seventh track that I listened to on this deep dive was “Nerve”. This was on the same album as “Lash” and the two sounded very uniform, which is something I enjoy within an album. But, this song also received a 6 from me.
“Collagen” was the next track that came on, it was from the same album as “Lash” and “Nerve”. This song though was a little different than some of the previous vibes that I have had while listening to Blank Body. I gave this song a 4 though, I did not enjoy it.
Just from listening to the beginning of “Reptile House”, I was obsessed. It was different than what I had been listening to from Blank Body, but I enjoyed it and it may be my new favorite. I gave it a 9.
The track that I ended this deep dive on was “Elephant”. I am very curious about what exactly he uses to come up with the titles of some of these songs in all honesty, I think that is the one thing I would ask. I gave this song an 8.
