So if you are reading this and managed to miss the first one, I will inform you what I am doing. January 2023 was a very weird month already, so I am talking about some of the things that happened just in the first month of the year.
Miss USA wins Miss Universe: Maybe I am just dumb, but at first, I was going to write about how rare it is for a Miss USA to win a Miss Universe, but apparently, we have the most amount of Miss Universes! You truly do learn something new every day. Anyways she is very beautiful and it's a time like this when I am proud to be an American. I love hot women.
Jeremy Renner murked himself in a snowplow accident: Ok, I am not going to lie, I think Hawkeye needs to be removed from the Marvel Universe. But, other than that, Jeremy Renner is an incredibly talented actor and I feel so bad that this happened to him, I hope for a speedy recovery for him. I heard he is doing better so that is always important but I don’t have much of an opinion on this one.
Selena Gomez is spotted holding hands with Drew Taggart (the guy who sings for The Chainsmokers): Selena, baby, we are past the point of using washed-up mid-performers for the paparazzi. Like I know that man nuts on you says “siiiick” and throws you a towel, then makes you listen to every mashup he has ever made and all of the suck, some may think “but he’s part of the Chainsmokers it's going to be good!”. No, it is not, do not lie to yourself.
That 90s show comes about: So I remembered hearing that this was going to be a thing but I never really thought it would happen. I think since everything got taken off because Hyde is a creep, this was the way of redeeming such a well-known franchise, but something about it misses the mark for me. I expected a lot and did not get what I wanted. When I say you can tell it was Netflix that made it, do you get what I mean?
Panic! At The Disco disbands: Now, I know that all the Panic! At The Disco fans were like “well we do not like you anymore anyways” about it, but listen, something about this made me sad. Vices and Virtues is one of my favorite albums to exist so it did give me “end of an era” energy. So, I will admit I was sad about this. But, I do agree in recent years the music was very pop and it missed the mark so maybe it was time for a break, and God knows they will do some type of reunion tour at some point.
The makeup chick Makayla is “canceled” again for faking how good mascara is: Now, this flooded my TikTok for your page, and I think this is like the second or third time that this girl has been canceled. But, in my opinion, y’all gotta hate someone to cancel someone overlying over mascara, there was some deeper beef that the internet had with her so now this was another attempt to get rid of her, but like y’all been trying to get rid of James Charles for about 7 years now and he’s not going anywhere so good luck.
Hulu announces a plan to bring back King of the Hill: This will complete my life. This show was my entire childhood.
