This is going to be another update about everything that happened on 2/3 in the Alex Murdaugh Trial. This trial is going viral at a rapid rate because it is so obscure for such a well-respected lawyer to kill two of his family members.
Lawrence Wiggins was next to take the stand. Before he stepped down, he did fingerprints from Roger Davis and Anthony Cook. I want to know more about the reasoning behind these fingerprints. I wish in the trial, they had touched more on that. I also am respecting more and more the police force involved in this trial because of the depth that they went into to do this work, and also having so many different investigators doing tests to get different perspectives. I believe this made the case more fulfilled.
Chandler Horney took samples from Morgan Doughty and Mikey Altoman, 2 survivors of the boat crash. I want to know why they wanted to take the fingerprints of the 2 survivors of the boat crash. My one reasoning that it would be to check if by any chance they killed Paul and then had to kill Maggie too, but I find that to probably be a reach, so I want the real reason and not the dramatic one that I came up with in my head.
Jamar Albayalde was next to take the stand. He took fingerprints from Buster Mudaugh, Alex’s son who wasn’t murdered, H Torres, and A Gonzalez, we are not sure who they are though. I understand why Buster’s fingerprints were taken, to rule him out as a suspect. But I want to know why H Torres and A Gonzalez’s fingerprints were taken, and also who they are (I hate being an invasion of privacy type of person, but I am just curious).
Paul Greer took the stand next, he is a forensic firearms specialist. He identified the guns that were used to kill Maggie and Paul. I think throughout everything that happened, he had one of the most important jobs, especially since there were so many guns on their property. Honestly, if you have not heard his testimony in full, I would recommend listening to it because it is very fascinating and I learned a lot about his job through it.
