I have become one of those annoying break it up into two parts people like this is TikTok videos or something, which I know sucks, but I believe it is easier to consume information that way. So, here is the second part of all that went down on 2/6 in the Alex Murdaugh trial. In this article, I will be covering the testimony of William McElveen, Natasha Moodie, and Jamie Hall. After hearing these three witnesses I am excited to see who else we have coming up on the stand.
William McElveen, a friend of Paul Murdaugh’s is next to take the stand. His testimony was very similar to a lot of Paul’s friends. This does not shock me at all that there is consistency in what is being said between Paul’s friends, I don’t think it should shock anyone either. From what it appears, he was just like every other 22-year-old boy, but no one should be shocked like that, boys at that age are simple carbon copies.
Natash Moodie is next to take the stand. She works for Bank Of America and identified various bank records like documents about opening accounts and bank statements in general. But this is ruled to not be valid evidence. I do not understand how what she was bringing to the table was any different than what had been brought to the table, but I am not the judge of this case so I guess my thoughts can not count as evidence.
Jamie Hall who worked in the trace evidence division of SLED is next to take the stand. On the t-shirt were small reddish-brown stains and the fresh smell of laundry detergent. She found this odd because usually, clothes come to trace evidence smelling musty. The seatbelt of the Suburban had no evidence. There was no blood on his shoes. Both Maggie and Paul were lying in puddles of blood, so he did not check for life if there was no blood.
