Recently, a suspect has been taken into custody for the quadruple murder that happened nearly two months ago to four college students at the University of Idaho. It is known that I have remained investigated in this case which is why I have taken my time with this article. I wanted to make sure all that I was studying was correct information. In this article, I will be discussing who Bryan Kohberger is as well as his relationship with the victims and how they tied him as the perpetrator in this case.
28-year-old Bryan Kohberger was a graduate student in the criminal justice student at Washington State. But, after he was named to be the suspect and was put in jail on Friday with first-degree murder charges, a lot more was revealed about him. He was known to be a “creep” and “outcast” in high school, he also struggled with heroin addiction. Also, girls in high school even got weird feelings toward him, he got no play. He also started high school overweight, but in his senior year returned built like a stick. In 2017, it is claimed that he was sober from heroin. Although his negative high school experience did not define his college one, one of his professors from Northampton Community College, where he went before Washington State stated that he was one of her best students. I guess you have to be good in the classes and know everything to the tee if your later intent is to commit a crime, especially to this level. But, socially, he still caused a lot of problems. For example, a local brewery owner stated that he often would harass women. Although, his family remains close to him. But, an aunt who has left the family admitted that he had always been weird as hell.
As for the scene, Bryan lived incredibly close to the home, and through DNA and his car, they knew he was the perpetrator. He also went to Reddit to ask if anyone had committed a crime and how they felt after the experience. He also discussed how perpetrators selected victims, he called it a “research study”, I do not believe people would expect it to be done in this way. Sadly, it was never reported, but Reddit is so weird if every suspicious post was flagged, Reddit would not exist.
Bryan tracked the four victims' phones for weeks before the murder according to CNN’s sources. Kaylee, for a while, had discussed having a stalker, and nothing was ever made of it. It is now safe to say that her instincts were correct and Bryan was the stalker. I do not know if there would have been a better way to report him though other than “that guy over there” because he seemed to almost not exist unless acting horribly.
He also drove home to Pennsylvania when any signs pointed to him. When his home was seized, the Hyundai Elantra, which belonged to him, was seized as well. According to correspondence, he asked if anyone else was arrested, and kept a blank stare the entire time. That concept is chilling, it shows, mentally, how off he truly is, and it saddens me that he behaves in such a manner.
At the moment, he is soon being moved to a jail in Idaho where he will be held without bail. But, he will face the families of the victims in court as well. To watch how he reacts in that situation. In one of his classes, the Idaho murders were discussed, and he did not react. So, I am curious as to how he will react in the face of the victim’s families. I would assume he will have some form of emotion because yes, obviously something is wrong with him, but I do not find him to be a complete sociopath.
I do intend on continuing to report on this case, it is a tragedy, but there are so many questions that remain without an answer, I am hoping within the next 24 hours, we receive answers to some. I am glad there is a suspect, but I believe that the perpetrator is so off, that we will never find the answers that we continue to chase. With time, everything will truly be answered, I believe.
