Idaho Murders Update

This article will be an update on the situation on the suspected killer in the Idaho murders, Bryan Kohberger as well as what is just going on with this situation in general, since he has been found and put into custody, we are given so many answers. Sadly, not a lot of answer just yet, but for the sake of the victim’s families and friends, I do understand keeping a lot of things private because this case is so gruesome, and the public have been sending death threats to people close to the victims since the beginning, so I understand keeping things private until everything is concluded.

A piece of evidence from a witness has surfaced, one of the roommates who survived the killing discusses being “frozen” and “in shock” after seeing a man pass her house in all black clothes and a mask after the murders. She did not recognize him and proceeded to lock herself in the room after she saw him near the back sliding door. She saved her life doing this, most likely. This is such a crazy concept to wrap your head around, especially after hearing her description of the figure and it matching Bryan perfectly.

Evidence has also pointed to him being near the house 12 times, going as far back as August, but when he murdered the four victims, his phone was off. His phone was seen going towards Moscow, Idaho but from the hours of 2:47-4:48 am, his phone was off. This shows how he put in the effort to execute this, because in several cases, the killer does not turn off their phone, and they do get caught. So, for him to guarantee that his phone was off by the time he was at the house complicated him being caught sooner.

As for evidence, DNA was a huge component. On Madison Mogen’s bed, a tan leather knife sheath was left, the police, of course, pulled DNA from there. In the trash at Kohberger’s parent’s house, the same DNA was left. There was also a shoeprint left outside of one of the survivor’s rooms. Both pieces of evidence led to the arrest of Bryan Kohbergr, every day, DNA and how advanced it has become is such a blessing.

As for the infamous white Hyundai Elantra, the car was seen passing the house three times. The car was also tracked going back to where Bryan lived in Washington after murdering the four victims. A Washington State police officer found a car matching the records, belonging to Bryan Kohberger. The ability to rack cars and also how so many cars have the GPS features to see where it was is also such a blessing.

After his court hearing on Thursday, he has been extradited to Idaho where he is being held in custody for charges of burglary and first-degree murder. A nondissemination order has been put in place, meaning the Moscow Police Department can no longer communicate with the public. This is a sensitive case for anyone who is close to the victims, so I understand why public addresses need to be limited. Also, there are so many theories and such involving this case that has gone viral, I understand why keeping everything on the low is so important, when cases are as big as this one, people attach to it, I am an obvious person who has, but people in this one have taken it to the point of death threats to people that are close to the victims, and for people who already aching this is the worst thing you can do. In general though, death threats should not be sent to anyone.
