The TaxSalyer Gator Bowl takes place at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, Florida. The two teams that are playing this year are Notre Dame and South Carolina. For this game, I picked South Carolina to win.
South Carolina came out strong in the first quarter, Xavier Legette got a touchdown on their behalf, to which Notre Dame responded with a touchdown on behalf of Tyler Buchner, but South Carolina responded to this by getting two touchdowns, one on behalf of Hunter Rodgers and then the other on behalf of DQ Smith.
Notre Dame was able to come out strong into the second quarter though, Blake Grupe got a field goal but South Carolina responded with a field goal on behalf of Mitch Jeter, and then Notre Dame responded with a touchdown on behalf of Logan Diggs.
Notre Dame also controlled the third quarter with a touchdown on behalf of Tyler Buchner, but South Carolina’s Xavier Legette was able to respond with his second touchdown of this game, Braden Lenzy though got a touchdown on behalf of Notre Dame after that.
Notre Dame also ran the fourth quarter with Logan Diggs getting his second touchdown of this game, but South Carolina responded with a touchdown on behalf of O’Donnell Fortune, but Mitchell Evans got a touchdown on behalf of Notre Dame causing them to win.
