Night Lovell

Night Lovell truly does make me feel some type of way. I listen to his music a lot, but I feel like I don’t know his work as much as I would like to which is why I chose to analyze him today.

The song I started with was “Dark Light”. When I do this, I choose which song I know from their top 5 on Spotify so that I make sure the music mixes. I have always liked this song but it isn’t my favorite so I gave it a 9.

I had never heard the next song, but I did enjoy it a lot. “UNKNOWN LOCATION INTERLUDE” was a good fit for me to hear second because I am always big on interludes. I gave this song a 9 as well.

“Lethal Pressure” was another song from him I had nerve heard, and in all honesty, I was not a fan of the intro, but as for the rest of the song I enjoyed it. But because I was thrown off by the intro, I did end up rating this song a 7.

The fourth song I never heard either. But, “Trees Of The Valley” encouraged my belief that one thing about Night Lovell is that he is very good about staying consistent with his music’s vibe. I gave this song a 9.

“Trying To Float” came on next. In all honesty, this was not one of my favorite Night Lovell songs. I don’t know what was wrong with it, but, something just didn’t go the way it was supposed to with it. I gave it a 5.

“I’m Okay” may be one of my new favorite Night Lovell songs. I liked the beat behind it and his voice is so soothing on this track. This is a song that proves why I chose to do Night Lovell. I rate it a 10.

As we all know about me, songs with features always make me feel some type of way. “Riot Ballad” featured Wavy Drexler who I’ve never listened to before, but I liked this song and his feature so I rated it an 8.

The eighth song I listened to also had features. “A Lot” which featured Lindasson and FTG Reggie was a good song even though I do not know these artists, but it wasn’t my favorite so I rated it a 6.

I hated the intro to this song. “Still Cold/Pathway Private” had another stupid intro but the song itself was good. Tracks like these throw me off. I ended up rating this song a 7 because of how the intro made me feel.

This deep dive ended with “I Know Your Ways”. This was another song I had never heard before, and it was an okay song. I did not save it to listen to it again but it was an alright song. I rated it a 6.

My ending average rating for Night Lovell was 7.5. This was a lot lower than I expected because I feel like the majority of music I listen to from Night Lovell I enjoy but I guess I just wasn’t big on these songs.
