In this article, I am going to recap the music that was recently released and what songs we are listening to and adding to our playlists. Let me know if I should also make a playlist of these songs too!
SONGS:
Shittin’ Me - A$AP Rocky: For the first time in a long time, Rocky gave us what we have been asking for, new music. This song has the same energy as Bad Company in my head which I really like so add this to your playlist now.
Creepin’ - Metro Boomin, The Weeknd, 21 Savage: Off the HEROES & VILLAINS album, this song is an automatic hit, anything that Metro Boomin and 21 do together is always good but The Weeknd’s melodic voice makes it even better.
La Jumpa - Arcangel, Bad Bunny: If you like Latin music, you need to listen to this song. It is one of my favorite songs right now and Bad Bunny supremacy will continue to reign in 2023 as well.
FTCU - Latto, GloRilla, Gangsta Boo: I am the biggest fan of female rappers, especially Latto. I also love GloRilla and although I don’t know Gangsta Boo, she slayed. This song is going to be at the bars for sure.
My Swisher Sweet, But My Sig Sauer - $uicideboy$, Germ: Again, I advocate for $uicideboy$ like no one else, and this song is so good. I can not wait for the new album to drop. Add this song to your playlist now.
ISTG PT. 2 - Doodie Lo, Kodak Black: I have never really listened to Doodie Lo but this song is really good and Kodak’s feature is incredible (that should come as no shock to anyone) I would recommend giving this song a listen for sure.
CUM RAG - Pouya: I have listened to Pouya about as long as I have listened to $uicideboy$ and I like the rock vibe in this song although I have never really heard it out of him before.
ALBUMS:
HEROES & VILLAINS - Metro Boomin: Metro Boomin dropping always makes the world better, this album has incredible features like John Legend, Future, Chris Brown, Don Toliver, and Travis Scott, along with so many others. Listen to this album now.
One Thing At A Time (Sampler) - Morgan Wallen: I love Morgan Wallen and this sampler is just so good. I enjoy the upbeat vibe behind the song One Thing At A Time and I can not wait for the album.
FN (the mixtape) - idontknowjeffery: I am so excited to have a new mixtape from Jeffery, he is one of my all-time favorite rappers. This mixtape also features GrindHard E and TEC which I also enjoy. Hop on the Jeffery train before it is too late.
LIVE FOREVER - Lil Peep: These songs have been on Soundcloud for a while as I have listened to them for a while, but since they are officially on Spotify, they can be added to your playlists!
