This is my favorite segment to do. So here we are back again with some new music that I believe you need to add to your playlist now. There is a variety of genres as well as albums and songs mentioned here, don’t worry!
Albums:
DIRTIESTNASTIESTSUICIDE - $uicideboy$, Germ: This is probably one of the most anticipated albums for me, this trilogy series is one of my favorites ever so I was excited by the release of it. Add this entire album to your playlist now.
Paper Route Frank - Young Dolph: I don’t know if this had previously been announced because I had not seen it. But, I am very excited about the release of it. This album is a banger and made me miss Dolph a lot.
So Icy Boyz: The Finale - Gucci Mane: From Gucci’s record company, 1017 records, we received the 80-track album with all of the 1017 records artists. The devil works hard but Guwop works harder, this entire album is a yes from me.
No Thank You - Little Simz: Originally, Little Simz became known for her viral song, “Venom” but I have listened to her music since and she is an incredible artist and this album proves that.
Songs:
Nothing Is Lost (You Give Me Strength) - The Weeknd: This song is from the Avatar soundtrack and it does a great job showcasing The Weeknd’s talents, after his last album, I was disappointed, but this single redeems him a lot.
Blow it - Tay Money, Kali: Tay Money has always been one of my favorite female rappers I don’t listen to Kali that much but I do like her voice and their collaboration for this song is so good. It is my new getting ready song.
Turn On The Lights Again… - Fred again…, Swedish House Mafia, Future, Solomun: I would give anything in the world to see this track be played at a music festival or rave, it is so good. I recommend adding this to your playlist.
FLEEK - Mike Dimes: Being from Texas, especially San Antonio, I am the biggest advocate for Mike Dimes and this song does such a good job of showing how his music is. I am excited to see what else he will release coming up.
Tell Me It’s Over - Jacquees, Summer Walker, 6LAVK: Having three of the most iconic voices in music right now do a track together like this is brilliant. This song is off of Jacquuees’ new album, but I am not big on the entire album, but I do enjoy this song.
Another Nasty Song - Latto: There is nothing Latto does better than sampling iconic rap/hip hop/r&b songs and making them just as good as the original. Sampling “Nasty Song” by Lil Ru is a bold choice, but she does it so well.
