This is the only game that is being played today is the Myrtle Beach Bowl which is taking place at Brooks Stadium in Conway, South Carolina. In the Myrtle Beach Bowl, this year, Marshall and UConn are playing. For this game, I picked Marshall because they are much better at football than UConn.
Marshall had an incredible first quarter that consisted of a touchdown by Corey Gammage. Then toward the end of the quarter, Damion Barber got a second touchdown for the team. Them doing this well this early is exciting for me.
About halfway through the second quarter, Devin Miller got a touchdown. This quarter was a little boring but I do not believe Marshall and UConn was a fair matchup, Marshall is a much better team than UConn.
The third quarter though did get a little exciting. It started off with another touchdown on Marshall’s behalf, and then UConn proceeded to score twice in this game! There was nothing that happened in the fourth quarter leaving this game with a score of 28-14.
