The second game that plays today is the Duluth Trading Cure Bowl. This bowl game features the UTSA Roadrunners and Troy University Trojans. For this game, I am picking the roadrunners to win because I am from San Antonio. Also, ESPN predicts that it is a 56.3% chance for UTSA to win, which is exciting for me at least. The Duluth Trading Cure Bowl takes place at Exploria Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
The first quarter was rather boring, all that happened was a safety by UTSA, which I liked, but that makes for a boring quarter if that's all that happened. Since these teams play at about the same level, I assumed it would be more competitive.
The second quarter of this game was the most exciting quarter of this game. It started with Zakhari Franklin receiving a pass from Frank Thomas which resulted in a touchdown on the behalf of UTSA. Then, Jared Sackett got a field goal on behalf of UTSA which was just as exciting, but Troy University finally answered UTSA by getting a touchdown. This is when things started to change in this game.
The third quarter resulted in another touchdown by Troy University which they also went for a two-point conversion which they were successful with. This was about all that happened this quarter as well.
The fourth quarter was as dry as the first and third. The only thing that happened was Troy getting a field goal which for the score of the game, made it look better. The Trojans beat the Roadrunners 12-18.
BOWL COUNT: 1/2
