 Blokka $olo

According to Spotify, I only know three Blokka $olo songs, and they are all three of his biggest hits. I like all three of these songs which is why I chose to do this deep dive. I am excited to get to review him as an artist. 

I started with “Hxly Ghx$t” which Spotify has as his third most popular song. I started lower instead of at the top to appear fair, I guess. I like this song a lot, but it doesn’t give me everything I want, so I gave it an 8.

The second song that played, “KING$” had a feature, Smokie G, which I always appreciate because it gives me insight into a new artist or an artist I am familiar with which makes me feel better about the music. I gave this song a 7 because it just wasn’t my favorite.

“Blxxdy” was the next song that played, I enjoyed it, but it was a little dark for my liking. I understand that is the vibe of Blokka $olo but this song just overdid it. Though I did like Chynna Mane’s feature so I rated this song a 6. 

“R.1.P.” definitely had my favorite intro off any track I have listened to Blokka $olo so far. I believe that this also gave me a very positive taste of the song in general because it is my new favorite from him and I rate it a 10. 

The fifth song I listened to may have been my favorite. “$cVRFVC6” is a good song that features Chynna Mane, Killsadist, and Gucci Dueca. Though this is a good song and Blokka $olo is a good artist, typing these titles is a bitch, but I gave this song a 10. 

“CRXNK” played next and it featured TiiJEi. As much as I like features, I am beginning to lose exactly What Blokka $olo does. So many features throw me off because it makes me question what the artist can do with their song. I gave this song a 7.

“GVNGSTV” was the next song I listened to and I liked the vibe of this song. It was a lot different than what I usually consider to be Blokka $olo but I enjoyed this vibe and still found it coherent with his other music so I gave it a 9. 

The eighth song that played was “TXMMY” and I am about to be so honest with you all, I do not believe I am edgy enough for Blokka $olo. I am just completely missing the point on why people like this. I gave this a 2. 

Ok, this song made me want to take back everything I had just said about Blokka $olo. “BVLDW1N’ played next. I, for some reason, vibed with this song extra hard so I ended up giving it a rating of 10. 

I ended this with “D6MXN (B6 GXN6)” and even though towards the end I began to like Blokka $olo a lot more, I will not miss typing these titles. This is another song that makes me want to take back all the initial points that I made. I gave it an 8. 

This deep dive was interesting for me. I had no idea what to expect when I was going into it and I do not know how I feel after it. But, I ended up rating him a 7.7 which is about what I expected to give him.
