2022 Bowl Games

The 2022 Bowl Games have been announced. I took the effort to go through and give my opinion on each of them and who I believe will win. This article is going to be a pretty long one, so sit tight.

December 16th Games: 

Hometown Lenders Bahamas Bowl: In all honesty, I would have no issue attending this bowl because I would love to vibe in the Bahamas. I want UAB to win this bowl because I do live in Alabama and I hate the state of Ohio.

Duluth Trading Cure Bowl: Because originally I do live in San Antonio, I am pushing for a UTSA win because I do have a lot of friends that attend UTSA so it would be exciting for them. 

December 17th Games: 

Wasabi Fenway Bowl: Louisville is my pick for this game because I am going to ride on my hating Ohio train so I would not be excited about a Cincinnati win. Also, I believe Louisville would win based on playing ability. 

Cricket Celebration Bowl: Although as of right now Jackson State is undefeated, I am going to pull for a UNCC win because I believe they play a harder schedule so that might work to their advantage. 

New Mexico Bowl: This for me is going to easily go to SMU. Every year everyone wants the best for BYU and I just do not believe they have it in them. Also, if SMU does win then they can start riding their football powerhouse train like they used to. 

Jimmy Kimmel LA Bowl Presented by Stifel: In all honesty, I could not care less about this game. I am more shocked that Jimmy Kimmel has a bowl game. But I am going to pick Washington State because I think one of my friends goes there. 

LendingTree Bowl: This is another bowl game I do not care about, and I feel bad for them that they have to play in boring Mobile, but I am going to pick Southern Miss because Rice even being bowl eligible doesn’t sit right with me.

SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl: The win for me is an easy choice, I chose Oregon State without a doubt. I despise Florida and all they stand for. So, I do not want them to win, whoever they play I will always pick first. 

December 19th Game:

Myrtle Beach Bowl: Now, if this was a basketball game, I would pick UConn in a heartbeat, but this is a football game so I am going to pick Marshall because there is no way UConn could beat Marshall.

December 20th Games:

Famous Idaho Potato Bowl: I do not know much about either team, but I am going to go with San Jose State, mainly because that is what my ESPN app is telling me, I also don’t like the state of Michigan.

RoofClaim.com Boca Raton Bowl: I would rank these teams at the same level so I think the winner is an absolute toss-up, but I am favoring Liberty because I still hate Ohio so I can’t pick them for the win.

December 21st Game:

R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl: I would like for South Alabama to pull it out for this game, and if you look at the Win-Loss record, South Alabama would win but I believe that Western Kentucky played a much harder schedule this year and I think they will win.

December 22nd Game: 

Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl: If you think my Ohio slander in this article has been bad, you do not want to see my feelings about Baylor. I am hoping that Air Force pulls something out for them to win.

December 23rd Games:

Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl: I highly doubt that the Ragin’ Cajuns will win big for this game. Houston has had a good year and I with my full chest believe they can win this game. 

Union Home Mortgage Gasparilla Bowl: I wouldn’t mind a Wake Forest win, but I think Missouri will win. They are a lower-tier SEC team so I feel like that often isn’t factored in when picking their competition.

December 24th Game: 

EasyPost Hawai’i Bowl: As an Alabama fan, I am disgusted by any form of a Tennesee team, so I am going to pick San Diego State for the win. I do believe that this is one of the more fair games I’ve seen.

December 26th Game:

Quick Lane Bowl: I will be so honest with you, I am solely picking a Bowling Green win because I like their halftime. I do not enough about either team to give a real insight into who should win.

December 27th Games:

Camellia Bowl: I think that this match-up is an incredibly interesting one. I am going to go with Georgia Southern for the win though because a lot of my friends attend that school so that will be happy for them.

SERVPRO First Responder Bowl: This kind of mashup is one of my worst nightmares. I hate both Tennesee and Utah but I am going to pick Memphis for the win because Utah State doesn’t need to be fueled that their team is any good.

TicketSmarter Birmingham Bowl: I am going to be so real with you, I wish with my whole chest that I could go because this matchup is just so good. My pick for the win though is East Carolina.

Guaranteed Rate Bowl: Who I want to win this game is just so obvious. I, with my full chest, am going for Wisconsin. There is nothing I hate like an Oklahoma State fan therefore I do not want them to win.

December 28th Games: 

Military Bowl Presented By Peraton: UCF is who I am picking for the win. After watching their performance in their division game, I think they have it in them to be Duke in a heartbeat.

AutoZone Liberty Bowl: This is an easy choice for me, I am going with Arkansas for the sake of an SEC win. If this happened to be a basketball game though, I would pick Kansas over them.

San Diego Country Credit Union Holiday Bowl: This is a hard one for me to pick. Both teams had great seasons so I think this will be an interesting game. But, my pick goes to UNC for the win.

December 29th Games:

Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl: I do not think that this is a good matchup in the slightest, I think that Minnesota is going to kick Syracuse’s ass that I would put money on it and I don’t have money to throw around like that.

Cheez-It Bowl: This may be my favorite bowl game just because it is Cheez-It, but as a matchup, I despise both teams. I think I am going to go to Florida State though for the game because their Win-Loss record is better.

Valero Alamo Bowl: I am putting into the Universe that I will get tickets to this game. My pick is going to Texas. For some reason, I will always pledge loyalty to Texas so every time I hope that they win.

December 30th Games: 

Duke’s Mayo Bowl: If I just looked at this matchup without knowing who it was playing, I would assume basketball not going to lie. But, my choice for the win is going to NC State.

Tony The Tiger Sun Bowl: Call my reasoning for this game stupid, but my choice goes to UCLA for the win for the sole reason is there is no song I would rather listen to than UCLA by RL Grime.

TaxSlayer Gator Bowl: This is another bowl game that is just my worst nightmare ever. It’s a game where I want both teams to lose. South Carolina gets my pick because, with no research, I guarantee that Notre Dame is overrated again this year.

Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl: I am also putting into the Universe that I will get rockets to this game because within the next 25 days, Barstool will want me to work for them. My pick for this team is Ohio because I miss my hoe that attends that school.

Capital One Orange Bowl: The stands of this game are going to be the ugliest color scheme in the world and I would vomit if I attended, but my obvious pick is Clemson because Fuck Tennessee Forever.

December 31st Games:

TransPerfect Music City Bowl: My pick for this game is going to Kentucky because that will be an SEC win and that’s what I like to see. I also do not believe that Iowa is a real state so they can’t in.

Allstate Sugar Bowl: Do I need to even tell you who I want to win? I need Alabama to annihilate Kansas State, but I am excited about the matchup because Kansas State was interesting to see against TCU.

January 2nd Games:

ReliaQuest Bowl: If you have made it this far I think you know who my pick will be for the winner of this game. If I need to make things obvious for you, I want Mississippi State to win because that’s an SEC win.

Citrus Bowl: Due to the circumstances of Alabama vs. LSU game, I am praying that Purdue annihilates LSU and every person I know that is an LSU fan will stop speaking to me because I can not handle it. 

Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic: I get so excited about the Cotton Bowl for no good reason. My choice for this game is Tulane because I want party-hard nerd supremacy, and USC is overrated if their division championship game didn’t prove that.

Rose Bowl Game: The parade for this game is one of my core childhood memories. This pick though is kind of hard for me but I am going to go with Penn State because I just hate Utah so much.

Playoffs:

CFP Semifinal At The Vrbo Fiesta Bowl: I am rooting for Michigan for the win in this game because I am so over every high horse that the Horned Frogs are on that I need them to be humbled.

CFP Semifinal At The Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl: One thing about me is I was a Georgia fan through the Mark Richt years, so they have my full support. I also still hate Ohio State so I am praying for Dawg Domination.
