This is my run-of-the-mill update on the new information that has been discovered in the Idaho Murders. This case has remained of interest to me over the past few months as someone who is the same age as the victims and the bizarre manner in which this was done. I do intend on continuing to report on this case as we continue to gather new information and also as the hearing of Bryan Kohberger happens.
Bryan Kohberger’s defense team has 14 days to turn in all evidence. Will this be enough evidence for Anne Taylor to be able to get her client off? As of right now, there is so much pointing to him, and that is just what we are seeing brought to light. As of right now, the Moscow police have done a great job of keeping information private, unless it is to protect the community of Moscow, Idaho. So, we do not truly know all that they have and what the prosecution can use. This makes me think there is a lot more information to prove it was Bryan Kohberger who killed these four victims, and although Anne Taylor is a critically acclaimed public defender, that does not mean that she can get him off. Will 14 days be enough to provide the necessary evidence? I do not think so.
Comments made by Bryan Kohberger about feeling “blank” as a teen has resurfaced, they were posted on Tapatalk in 2011. It has been rumored that he has been diagnosed with Depersonalization, but this is past that. The tendencies that he wrote about on Tapatalk, seem to be more sociopathic. I have read things where if the defense could say he was clinically insane, could they get away with anything? But, I highly doubt they can there is no way that he will not be proven guilty.
The preliminary will resume on June 26th. 6 months is a lot of time, especially in a case like this. At this time, it is a matter of what all the prosecution and defense can produce for this case. As for the prosecution, I think they have a solid case, all that they are looking for is the knife that is the presumed murder weapon, and his motive. I believe we have a better chance of finding the murder weapon over a motive. But, the defense has a lot of work to do, and I am interested to see what their case will be.
