The Tony The Tiger Sun Bowl takes place at Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso, Texas. The two teams playing this year are Pittsburgh and UCLA. My pick for this game is UCLA solely based on the RL Grime song.
Pittsburgh came out strong with a field goal on behalf of Ben Sauls. But, UCLA was able to answer with a touchdown on behalf of Logan Loya, to which Pittsburgh answered with Ben Sauls getting his second field goal of the game.
UCLA came out strong in the second quarter though. Dorian Thompson-Robinson got a touchdown, to which Pittsburgh responded with a touchdown on behalf of Bub Means, and then UCLA responded with Titus Mokiao-Atimalala getting a touchdown.
UCLA also started the third quarter strong with Jaylin Davies getting a touchdown, but Pittsburgh responded with Rodney Hammond Jr. getting a touchdown on behalf of Pittsburgh as a response to this.
Pittsburgh was able to control the fourth quarter incredibly well, Rodney Hammond Jr. got his second touchdown of this game, the Ben Sauls got two field goals on their behalf, but UCLA’s TJ Harden got a touchdown, but this was not enough for them to win this game as Ben Sauls getting his fifth field goal of this game. I am incredibly interested in Ben Sauls’ career, he is an incredible kicker, and am hoping to see him in the NFL.
