The Cheez-It Bowl takes place at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. The two teams that played were Florida State and Oklahoma. Although I despise both teams, my pick for the win did go to Florida State.
Florida State came out strong with this game. Ryan Fitzgerald got a field goal which Oklahoma responded with a touchdown on behalf of Jalil Farooq. This was not exactly the first quarter that I desired.
Sadly, Oklahoma came out strong with a touchdown on behalf of Dillon Gabriel. Though, Florida State was able to respond with a touchdown on behalf of Ontaria Wilson and got their 2-point conversion. Oklahoma responded with a field goal on behalf of Zach Schmit.
The third quarter was a little dry, but Florida State’s Treshaun Ward got a touchdown which put Florida State ahead. This game was a lot closer than I expected it to be but I would rather have a close game over a blowout.
Oklahoma came out strong in the fourth quarter with a touchdown on behalf of Gavin Sawchuk. Florida State responded with not one, but two touchdowns on the behalves of Treshaun Ward, his second one, and Markeston Douglas. Then Oklahoma got a touchdown on behalf of Jovantae Barnes, but Florida State’s Ryan Fitzgerald got his second field goal of this game causing them to beat Oklahoma.
BOWL COUNT: 17/27
