The Camellia Bowl takes place at Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Alabama. The two teams that played this year were Georgia Southern and Buffalo. For this game, I picked Georgia Southern for the sake of all my friends that attend that school.
In the first quarter, absolutely nothing happened. This was a little disappointing to see because I found this game to be one of the more fair matchups that were presented in bowl games this year.
The second quarter was a back-and-forth game. Georgia Southern started with Alex Raynor scoring a field goal on their behalf, but Buffalo’s Justin Marshall answered with a touchdown. Alex Raynor was able to answer with a second field goal, but Buffalo’s Tajay Ahmed got a touchdown.
The third quarter started with Joshua Thompson getting a touchdown on behalf of Georgia Southern, but Alex McNulty responded by getting two field goals for Buffalo, which was a little disappointing for me.
The fourth quarter was divided. Buffalo’s Alex Nulty got another field goal and Georgia Southern’s Jjay McAfee got a touchdown but that was not enough to bring them to a win, sadly. The end score ended up being 21-23.
BOWL COUNT: 10/19
